Weed Trim

Cannabis trim is the residual product created during the trimming process of high-quality cannabis plants. It consists of small pieces of leaves, small twigs, resinous sugar leaves, fine flower fragments, and traces of trichomes released during manual or mechanical processing of the harvest. Although it doesn't contain whole flowers, trim is a valuable raw material frequently used for extractions, edibles, or as a base for joints.

Production process

During the weed trim harvest, cannabis plants are carefully pruned to remove excess leaf material from the buds. These leaves and small flower fragments—often from the sugar leaves surrounding the buds—are collected as trim. Unlike fan leaves (large, fan-shaped leaves), good trim still contains a significant amount of cannabinoids and aromatic terpenes. After trimming, the trim is carefully dried and cured to ensure quality and shelf life.

THC content and genetics

The THC content of trim is lower than that of the whole flower, typically ranging between 12% and 16% , depending on the strain used and the degree of trichome retention during trimming. This particular trim comes from a hybrid cross between Bubba Kush and Grape Jello , two well-known strains with strong genetic backgrounds.

The genetic makeup consists of approximately 60% indica and 40% sativa , which ensures a balanced effect: a slightly relaxing effect without loss of mental clarity.
